A Son is Given
Isa 9:6 For unto us a child is born,
There are thousands of children born every week in the world today. The above statement alone means nothing really. Children are born on a daily basis unto us. Children are certainly blessings, but if we search back through history, how many times can we say a son is given? There is only one instance that I know of that makes that statement.

Introduction
I recall when I was in high school reading a book titled "1984" by George Orwell. Though I can't remember minute details of the book, the general message is easily remembered. The main premise of the book was that all should be equal in all things. Those who had the ability to jump higher than others had weights put upon them to equal things out. This was done in a socailistic society.

I sit here pondering the night sky while watching the flock of sheep bedded down. The stars shine brightly overhead and it seems some are twinkling at me. My friends sit talking to one another and my thoughts turn toward the greatness of God.

Estimates show that one hundred and twenty-five thousand, (125,000), people die each day who do not know Jesus. That is over forty-six million, (46,000,000) each year that split hell wide open.
