Forgetting Those Things Which are Behind

Forgetting Those Things Which are Behind

We need to keep walking on faith and forget about what we see and hear in this world. Forgetting all those that have hurt us. Letting go of the hurt that keeps us form receiving blessings from the Lord.

Broken

Recently something came upon me and I was unable to get away from it for three weeks. It wasn't something of impending doom or something great that is going to happen. I had a vision unlike any I had before. It is my prayer that you enjoy reading this and see what the Lord had shown me.

In the Beginning, God

Gen 1:1 In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.

Many have stated that the first thing God created was the heaven and the earth. The fact is that the beginning was created by God first. Beginning means time starts. I am going to attempt to put to rest many of the things people say and state as facts that are not quite right. I only ask that you bear with me as you read this hub.

There will be a lot of speculation in this hub. It might be 100% correct, but at the same time much of it can be false. It is merely my musings although it will be defined with scriptures as well as I am able to do so.

The Fall of Satan

Joh 10:10 The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy:

Woe to the inhabiters of the earth and of the sea! for the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time.

The Lord is My Shepherd

The Lord is My Shepherd:

What is a shepherd? A shepherd is a person who takes care of sheep. A good shepherd will give his life for the sheep that he is caring for. A shepherd is the leader of the flock of sheep.

For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God.

This is My Testimony

This is My Testimony

On August 9, 1996, I went to a church service at Trace Church of God. I can't remember what the preacher preached about, nor do I remember any songs that were sung.

What Does it Mean to Forgive?

So shall ye say unto Joseph, Forgive, I pray thee now, the trespass of thy brethren, and their sin; for they did unto thee evil:

Fatal Attraction

Fatal Attraction

The story of Samson and Delilah is a well known story that nearly everyone knows about. You can ask people on the street if they know about them and most will say yes. They know many details of what happened between them. What happened to Samson was that he had a fatal attraction to Delilah. He desired her so much that he was willing to give up anything to have her.

Power

Power

Luk 4:18 The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised,

Luk 4:19 To preach the acceptable year of the Lord.

Luk 4:20 And he closed the book, and he gave it again to the minister, and sat down. And the eyes of all them that were in the synagogue were fastened on him.

Pastoral Epistles

Pastoral Epistles

The Roman Emperor Nero martyred the Apostle Paul in the year 68 AD. Among Paul’s last letters are what we call the Pastoral Epistles: 1 Timothy; 2 Timothy; and Titus. They were given this name because Paul originally wrote them to pastors of the nascent church. The key themes are: the qualifications required of church leaders, how to organize worship services, how to maintain authority within the church, and how to recognize false teachers and purge them from the congregation.

Blessings have been poured out onto me

Blessings have been poured out onto me

HOME FOR SALE BY OWNER
I wrote a Hub four weeks ago entitled Home For Sale; Owner Bankrupt. In it I wrote of my gratitude for the great blessings I have been graced with during my lifetime. I revealed that I have financially gone broke, that my home is for sale, as is an automobile and my art collection.
